WORST LIES YOU TELL YOURSELF

1. I HAVE NO TIME

This is a ridiculous statement. How the hell will you say that you have no time? If you are reading this believe me, you have time.You just probably think that the time you’ve got to spare is little. 5 to 10 minutes daily will do some justice to your fitness goals. You must know that whatever form of exercise you do counts; even if it’s little.Think of it as money; whatever little money you save counts.If you save 100 naira every day,you will have 36,500 naira by the end of the year. Notwithstanding any economy recession, you can use that cash to take few friends to the movies and have moderate fun.The same thing applies to excercise, no matter how litle you think it is, it still counts. 5 minutes exercise everyday by the end of the year would have helped cut off some pizzas, tasty fries, doughnuts, alcohol and so on that could have stayed on your body as unwanted fats. If you know that your schedule is time constrained, don’t fret. Perform 3 sets of Head to toe squats and 3 sets of push ups daily. It won’t take more than 10 minutes of your time and it will raise your metabolism higher than you can imagine.

Remember little drops of water make the mighty ocean.

Little addition of bricks make the mighty wall.

2.I HAVE NO IDEA OF WHAT TO DO

Like seriously????

How do you mean? We both know that this is a flimsy excuse. Although you may be right in the real sense that you don’t know the effective means of achieving your fitness goals without waste of resources. But other than that, you’ve got nothing to say. Go out and take a 30 minutes walk or jog for 15 minutes. That is something for starters. Then reach out to personal trainers that will help you achieve your fitness goals.

3.I AM TOO OUT OF SHAPE FOR THE GYM

Isn’t that the more reason you should get up and hit the gym immediately? It’s just like a poor person complaining that he can’t go out to make money, isn’t that the more reason he should step up his game and start making some dough. Nobody is too fat or big for the gym.

The gym is full of love and it will help you lose weight no matter how fat or big you think you are. Infact there have been several people that were so really damn bigger than you before but now they have lost so much fat that they are inspiring examples of BEFORE and AFTER posters. Don’t tie yourself down mentally, release your self from the bondage.Go to the gym and start working out.

4. I DON’T HAVE GYM CLOTHES

Why are you lying? Even to yourself too. What a creative lie!. Of course you know I wouldn’t want you to hit the gym butt naked or dressed up looking like an energetic village masquerade. But come on, you can always channel your creativity in a productive way and come up with an outfit that is suitable for the gym. Shorts, bum shorts, t-shirt and trainers/plimsoll will suffice for the time being.

Get up and start doing some form of exercise. Stop the sedentary lifestyle.

The only thing stopping you from achieiving the body you want is your excuse.
